6 hours to solve one problem.

Welcome to shady.Hacks, the premier highschool hackathon in the Pittsburgh area. During the event, competitors will have 6 hours to create a project that addresses one critical issue of the world. The prompt will be announced at the beginning of the event, but it will be very broad and does not limit your creativity. Competitors can use their skills in computer science, engineering, and entrepreneurship to create their project of their choice with no limitations, working in teams of up to 4 people, or by themselves. At the end of the event, competitors will present their projects to a panel of judges. The best projects will win huge prizes offered by our sponsors, and every participant will receive a complementary shirt and certificate, for their participation.
